The Blue House Ghost Evidence

During both investigations, our team focused on documenting verifiable paranormal evidence inside the Blue House. What began as a quiet walkthrough quickly turned into a night of unexplained activity. The first investigation captured EVP recordings—audible voices that responded directly to our questions. Each clip was recorded using a digital recorder under controlled conditions, ruling out background contamination. One phrase, faint but clear, seemed to say “Get out” in the loft area.

On the second visit, we experienced a loud, distinct thump on the back door while no one was outside. Every team member was accounted for inside the kitchen at that moment. The noise was forceful enough to vibrate the wood frame—strong enough that we checked for an intruder, but nothing was found. This event happened while discussing the neighbor who had passed away about five years ago. 

The back door has a locked screen, so no one could have walked up and hit the door. We also noticed intermittent cold air spilling down the stairwell to the kitchen area. Windows were not open in the house that night. The dead bell also went off in the kitchen area.  These anomalies occurred at the same location where a tenant  reported on more than one occasion hearing things being moved around at nighttime. 

As with all PennStory Paranormal investigations, each piece of evidence is carefully reviewed using multiple tools—audio analysis, environmental readings, and visual correlation. While not every sound or fluctuation can be explained, the combination of audible responses, physical knocks, and environmental changes makes the Blue House case one of the most compelling in our Western Pennsylvania research archive.
