I’m Kimberly Chaffee, a professional genealogist with a BA in English, a PLCGS certification, and a lifelong fascination with the past, and the spirits that never left it.

Growing up in a haunted house set the stage for what would become my passion: uncovering stories that live in both the archives and the shadows. With decades of experience in land records and family research across Western Pennsylvania, I founded PennStory to help people trace their roots. But now, I take that work a step further into the haunted corners of history.

At PennStory Paranormal, I combine deep historical research with real-life paranormal investigations to reveal the lives and afterlives of those who came before us. From forgotten cemeteries to ancestral homesteads, I dig through deeds, diaries, and local legends to bring haunted histories to light.
